Paweł Korpuliński crowned 2026 Drift Masters European Champion!

PGE Narodowy in Warsaw once again hosted the final round of Drift Masters. In front of the home crowd, the battle for the championship title reached its conclusion, with Paweł Korpuliński one of the main protagonists of the evening. The Polish driver entered the event as second in the overall standings.

A total of 44 drivers lined up for the competition in Warsaw, and the qualifying sessions already showed that the Polish representative would be one to watch. Korpuliński scored 95 points in his first run and 97 in his second, finishing second in qualifying. This result earned him an additional 7 points towards the overall standings.

In the following stages of the competition, the Pole consistently defeated his opponents. In the TOP32, he won his battle against George Christoforou, while in the TOP16 he proved faster than Estonia’s Kevin Pesur. The TOP8 brought a head-to-head battle with fellow Polish driver Jakub Król.

This proved to be one of the most important moments of the entire season. After two smooth runs and the judges’ decision, Paweł Korpuliński advanced to the TOP4. At that point, it was already clear that, regardless of the outcome of the remaining battles, he would be crowned 2026 Drift Masters European Champion. In a particularly memorable moment, the driver found out that he had secured the title directly on the track, immediately after the judges announced their decision.

In the semi-final, Korpuliński faced Duane McKeever. The Pole delivered two confident runs to secure his place in the grand final. Waiting for him there was Conor Shanahan – a rival he had also faced in last year’s final.

The decisive battle started in Korpuliński’s favour. His first run was smooth and controlled. However, during the second run, when the Pole was driving as the chaser, the rear of his car made contact with the barrier. The run was scored zero, and Conor Shanahan took the victory in the Warsaw round.

This did not change the most important outcome of the evening. Paweł Korpuliński finished the season with 509 points and claimed the 2026 Drift Masters European Championship title.

Conor Shanahan finished second in the overall standings with 474 points, while Piotr Więcek took third place with 468 points.

The final at PGE Narodowy delivered excitement right through to the last runs, and for Paweł Korpuliński, the evening ended with the biggest achievement of the season – winning the championship title in front of his home crowd.
