Shock absorbers and springs have a very difficult task to fulfil, as they are responsible for the springing and damping of unevenness resulting from the road surface. High forces and difficult operating conditions lead to frequent failures of these elements. Shock absorbers get leaky and springs crack.

If one of the aforementioned failures is found, the damaged elements should be changed without delay. Defective shock absorbers cause the wheel to detach from the road surface when driving on bumps. Driving the car becomes uncomfortable and even dangerous.

Springs are exposed to the harmful influence of water and sand in summer and road salt in winter. It is very common for the wire lagging to fail, resulting in corrosion. The alignment of the shock absorbers and springs affect the handling of the vehicle and thus, each of these elements must be in good working order.
