The introduction of new emission standards has led to the extension of exhaust systems. It is particularly noticeable in the diesel cars, where exhaust systems have integrated three-way catalytic converters, DPFs, nitrogen oxide sensors and urea injectors. All these components can be found in modern vehicles that meet the current emission standards.
